IRS installation which does not have the correct safety-bonding in place
This is an example of an IRS installation which does not have the correct safety-bonding in place. Bizarrely a bonding bar is in place, but no earth supply.
Safety earth supply is not actually connected
This one has safety-bonding; well almost. We can see here that the earth supply is not actually connected.
Connection to the supply earth instead of the building's main earth
Although an attempt has been made to "earth" this system, it has been done incorrectly. They have connected to the supply earth instead of the building's main earth.
Incorrectly earthed via the mains supply
Similarly, this one is incorrectly 'earthed' via the mains supply.
Untidy - No pride or care was taken in this job
Well, no pride or care was taken in this job by whoever installed it. We had the unenviable task of sorting it out.
